TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- A Seaman High School student started his day off in the hospital instead of class.
Shawnee County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an injury accident near the entrance of the student parking lot at Seaman High School around 7:50 a.m. Wednesday morning.
They say a car driven by 17-year-old Tanner Kennedy attempted to turn south into the parking lot when it collided with a Toyota Camry travelling east.
The two cars came to rest in a nearby ditch.
The driver of the Camry, 64-year-old Joyce Pardee, and Kennedy were both transported by AMR to Stormont-Vail with non-life threatening injuries.
