TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The hunt is on to get to know Topeka's Little Free Libraries - and win prizes!
September is National Literacy Month.

There are more than 24 Little Free Libraries currently installed in Topeka. To celebrate September's National Literacy Month, Visit Topeka, Inc is assisting with The Little Free Library Scavenger Hunt.

The Scavenger Hunt begins at Visit Topeka, 618 S. Kansas Avenue. That is where visitors can pick up the first clue: To find peace, you can follow the rainbow. Each clue will lead to a Little Free Library Location. All 10 must be located and turned into the Visit Topeka office by noon, Sept. 30.

Shalyn Murphy and Kimberly Daugherty talked about the hunt and the Little Free Library program on 13 News at 4.
