TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Topeka Zoo's expectant orangutan and her baby are doing very well.
Doctor's at the zoo performed a seventh ultrasound today on 27-year-old Rudy.
Doctor John Evans from Stormont Vail and local veterinarian Leon Conner of the Animal Care Center of Topeka were on hand to assist with Rudy's exam.
Physicians were able to hear the heartbeat of the little one and say the baby is very active.
Rudy is expected to deliver at anytime.
