MAYETTA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A 52 year-old Topeka woman was hurt when the sport-utility vehicle rolled off a Jackson Co. highway, just south of Mayetta, on Friday afternoon, according to the Jackson Co. Sheriff's Office.
Emma Gruenig was heading north on U.S. Hwy. 75 when her 1997 GMC Jimmy went off the road near 142nd Road shortly before 1:00 p.m., authorities said. The SUV rolled over several times before coming to a rest on its wheels.
Emergency responders were able to get her out of the vehicle and she was taken to a Topeka hospital. Her condition was not released.
