TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Residents escaped a burning home unharmed Friday night.
Fire crews were called just after 8:30 pm to 1250 SW Garfield. The home is split into two apartments. Crews saw flames coming from the second story when they arrived.
No injuries were reported.
Crews remained on the scene late Friday to determine the cause of the fire. Some streets were closed while they fought the blaze and cleared their equipment.
