TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -Some businesses and residents in Topeka are without water Monday night, thanks to a 12-inch water main break.
Water flowed from the break that happened around 2:30 Monday afternoon near SW 10th Avenue and SW Henderson Road, just west of Wanamaker.
It's left homes and businesses in that area without water. City officials say that because of the size of the line, businesses on the hill north of I-70 also saw a drop in water pressure.
Crews are working to fix the break. City officials say repairs could take longer if the line split.
Water is expected to be off late into the night.
