Red Cross Gets New Building To House Supplies

TOPEKA, Kan. -- An 8x10 steel outdoor building was donated to the American Red Cross - Kansas Capital Area Chapter Friday morning.

With the assistance of Westar Energy, Bill Nace, Red Cross Volunteer, and HR Cook and David Sterbenz, Red Cross Board Members, the building was placed on a cement slab at 1221 SW 17th St. It will serve as storage for the supplies needed to respond when a disaster strikes.
