Recovering Rylee Efforts Continue As Storm Team Takes The Field

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__Teammates of Rylee Robinson may have played on in this weekends tournament but certainly had "Cherries," close to their heart.

Wearing special ribbons dedicated to Rylee Robinson with special cherries within the logo, The Topeka Tropical Storm released dozens of balloons in her honor before taking the field.

Coaches, teammates and parents all wore special T-shirts and jerseys honoring Rylee in this weekends tournament at the Lake Shawnee Softball Complex.

Rylee was injured on May 6th while on a bike along South Topeka Boulevard when she was struck by a car.

She is currently in critical condition at Stormont-Vail. You can donate to help Rylee's family with medical costs by visiting Stormsoftball.org and click on the "Recovering Rylee" tab or visit one the Quest Credit Union locations listed on the website.
