TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)--The Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority offered the public a first-hand look at their new paratransit lift vehicles Monday.
The new vehicles were unveiled at the Ryan Administration building. People were able to board the vehicles and take a look inside.
Topeka Metro invited lift passengers and bus operators to evaluate several different vehicles being considered for purchase. Operators and passengers selected the Glaval. The Glaval Universal cutaways replace an aging and worn out feel.
The new vehicles are set to be put into service the week of April 15th.
