Pre-School Students From The Topeka Downtown YMCA Honor First Responders

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Staff and the children at the Topeka downtown YMCA wanted to celebrate first responders today in honor of the 911.

Young voices filled the streets at the downtown Topeka YMCA as they sang to the Topeka firefighters in honor of the 12th annual September 11th Anniversary.

Pastor Joe Hodgson of the Imagio Dei Church of north Topeka led everyone in prayer and remembrance of the lives loss.

The director of the Y's pre-school child care center,Ms. Dee Dee, says all of the children in the World Trade Center's pre-school child care center survived because of the first responders.
