Authorities Work To Identify Deceased Man Struck By Train

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office is working to identify a man killed after being struck by a train in Topeka.

Release from the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office:

On January 24, 2013, at approximately 10:24 am, in the 10500 block of South Topeka Blvd in Shawnee County an unidentified, deceased, white male was found after being struck by a train. The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office has exhausted all means available to positively identify the individual and is seeking public assistance in identifying the man.

Subject description:
White male, Late 20’s early 30’s, 5’7” to 5’10” tall
Hair color is reddish to strawberry blond, full beard and mustache
Medium build, approximately 180-185 pounds
Blue eyes
No tattoos, marks, scars or piercings
He was wearing a ‘No Boundaries’ brand red jacket with a black liner, wrangler blue jeans with a weed eater string belt, Route 66 brand gray hiking boots with black trim, medium blue and dark blue striped t-shirt, black stocking cap and blue gloves.
