Police Seek Copper Thief

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka Police are asking for the public's help in finding a copper thief.

Topeka Crime Stoppers released surveillance photos Thursday from of a man stealing copper phone cable from Michaels Communications, 542 NW Hwy. 24. Authorities believe the theft happened sometime between June 19 and June 25. The video shows a white, male suspect with a bandana covering a portion of his face.

Anyone who knows the identity of the suspect should call or text Crime Stoppers. Information leading to an arrest can be worth a reward of up to $ 2,000.
