Police Searching For Suspect In Overnight Burglary

TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- Topeka Police are looking for a suspect in an overnight burglary.

At about 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning, police were called to 2435 SE Colorado on a call of a burglary.

The resident had suffered a laceration, but refused to be taken by AMR to the hospital.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing all black and armed with a knife.

He was last seen running out the back door of the home. It is unknown if he stole anything from the residence.

The police K-9 unit ran a trail on the suspect, but it ended a couple blocks away from the home.
