TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A pedestrian walking near the I-70 on Gage Blvd. interchange was injured when he was hit by an SUV, which then drove off, while walking along Gage, according to the Topeka Police Dept.
Authorities described the injuries as minor and said he was taken to the hospital for examination.
The SUV was reportedly turning left off Huntington Street onto Gage and took the turn too widely. The man was struck by the side of the vehicle as . Police said it was not a direct hit.
