TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Officers are investigating a late night homicide at the Pioneer Adams Townhomes.
Officials responded to a call of a stabbing in the 2100 block of SE Pioneer Way around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Lt. Ron Gish said that Troy Allen Robinson, 23, told his mother he stabbed a woman in an apartment.
Police located the woman, Oma Bennett, 43, dead in her apartment.
Robinson was arrested and booked on charged of First Degree Murder. He is being held on a $1 million bond.
A docket hearing is scheduled for December 27th.
Officers were also on the scene in the 300 block of N.W. Grant in connection to the suspicious death late Wednesday.
