Rain is likely across all of northeast Kansas this morning. Some areas could receive heavy rain that could lead to flooding. The overall severe threat with hail and wind have come down but still can't be rule out. Storms become more isolated this afternoon.
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Topeka Police say someone fired shots at a southeast Topeka home late Wednesday night while driving down the street.
The shooting was reported at 9:50 p.m. from a resident of 201 SE Lawrence St. The person told police a black male drove by in a newer, gray, four-door car and fired two shots at the building before leaving the area. The address is located on the northwest side of Ripley Park.
There were no injuries. There was gunshot damage to the residence.
