TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The holiday season is upon us.
To celebrate, Penwell-Gabel will donate 850 white pine Christmas trees to families in need.
To reserve a tree:
- Call 295-9782
- Available for pick up Dec. 2 between 1 and 4 p.m.
- Santa will be there handing out candy canes
This is the fourth year the company has helped out Topeka residents, and they say it's their way of giving back.
"It's a fun event and it's our way to give back to the community," said Property Manager Christy Gurney. "We really enjoy it. Santa comes to visit with the kids and hand out candy canes, and Santa and the kids have a really big time. It's a good day."
Families who will need a tree should call 295-9782 to reserve one.
The trees will be available for pick up on Sunday, December 2 between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. Santa will also be there handing out candy canes to the kids.
