Pedestrian Killed While Walking Out Of Driveway

Pottawatomie County, Kan. (WIBW) - A pedestrian was killed Tuesday evening when he was hit by a truck in Pottawatomie county.

The accident occurred around 6 p.m. on K-16, about a half mile east of Olsburg.

62-year-old Wesley Esping was walking out of his driveway to check on a deer that was hit by an unrelated vehicle when he was struck.

The driver of the Ford F150, Rabern Vawter, was uninjured and was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
