From the Topeka Police Department
Unfortunately we have been made aware of a possible internet scam in which someone has set up a pay pal account as a way of sending money to the Topeka Police Officers memorial funds.
The Topeka Police Department has set up only the two accounts at the Topeka Police Credit Union and the only way to donate is by a check sent in the mail or delivered in person.
If cash is the only option for donation they can accept that in person at the credit union between 9:00am and 2:00pm Monday through Friday.
