TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Pauline Central Primary School was placed on Lock In mode Wednesday as authorities responded to an incident near the school.

A USD 437 spokesperson told 13 News that the Lock In was put in place because of a domestic situation in the area. Parties involved "got heated," according to the district.

Normal school activities continued inside Pauline Central, but students were not allowed outside for recess.

The situation was resolved and the Lock In was lifted, officials told 13 News.

Pauline Central is located at 6625 SW Westview.
