TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- Participants left the skates at home as they set and spiked to raise money for one Topeka team.

The Capital City Crushers roller derby team held a mud volleyball fundraiser for the upcoming season.

All the sloppy fun took place a Lessman Farms and continues into Sunday.

Teams got down and dirty so the team could purchase jerseys, equipment and cover other expenses.

If playing in the mud isn't for you the tournament also had food and craft vendors and Friday night there was movies on the lawn.
