TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Kansas Bureau of Investigations has received reports on two deaths involving officers using tasers to subdue a suspect, the Osage Co. Attorney said.

In May, a Burlingame police officer reportedly tased Martin Bayless, who died the next day.

In late October, deputies used tasers and pepper spray on Kenneth Schick after responding to a domestic disturbance report that involved a hostage situation. The 38 year-old Schick died at the hospital later that day.

13 NEWS first reported the incident on October 23rd.

Osage Co. Attorney Brandon Jones said he will meet with the KBI after Thanksgiving before deciding if charges will be filed.
