TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- A local organization is offering educational training sessions to keep your children safe in the car.
Community Action Inc. Stormont Vail Health Care and Safe Kids Shawnee County is conducting a child safety seat inspections Saturday from 9 a.m. until Noon. at Ed Bozarth Chevrolet Buick GMC at 3731 Southwest Topeka Boulevard.
At the event, technicians instruct drivers how to properly install child safety seats and boosters and check installed seats to insure maximum safety for young riders.
Drivers need to bring their car seat instructions and the vehicle owner's manual. This one on one education takes 20 to 30 minutes.
