Rain heavy at times will move across northeast Kansas this afternoon and tonight that could lead to flooding. Severe storms are also possible through this evening with 60 mph wind gusts and hail up to the size of quarters.
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A beer truck driver was hurt when his van went off the road near a Highway 75 exit ramp early Friday afternoon.
The driver, who works for Crown Distributing, was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated.
Authorities said he was heading south along the highway when he went off the road near the NW 35th Street exit ramp around 2:00 p.m. The Miller Lite van went off the shoulder and ended up in a ditch near the ramp.
Officials are trying to determine if speed was a factor.
