One Person Arrested On Drug Charges

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW)--One person was arrested after deputies found him parked on the side of an on ramp.

54-year-old Rodney Dean Morgan of Denison was arrested Thursday after a deputy observed a 1996 Ford Ranger parked on the northbound ramp to 150th road from U.S. 75 with its flashers on.

The deputy was checking on the vehicle which led to the arrest of Morgan.

He was booked into the Jackson County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, illegal possession of depressants, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container, driving under the influence, and battery on a law enforcement officer.

His bond is pending.
