One Of Two Charged With Aiding Murder Suspects Sentenced To Probation

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - One of the two people charged with helping a pair of murder suspects escape the state was sentenced Friday in

Rachel Hudson of Denison received a 12-month suspended prison sentence, and was instead placed on 18 months probation.

She was given a 60 day jail sanction for not cooperating with her bond supervision process and using drugs.

Her alleged accomplice, Aaron Lofton of Topeka will be in court May 22.

The pair authorities say they were assisting, Lloyd Wabaunsese and Desiree Shopteese, will be in court April 24.

They're accused in the January shooting death of Kevin Stanley in Mayetta.
