Oklahoma Man Dies In Kansas Crash

KERWIN, Kan. (KAKE)— An Oklahoma man is dead following a crash in northwest Kansas.

It happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday on state highway K9 about one mile east of Kirwin in Phillips County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2012 BMW Z4 was westbound when the driver lost control and entered the north ditch. The car then struck a field entrance and went airborne, coming to rest on its wheels.

Glenn O. Rowell, 70, of Edmond, Oklahoma, was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
