TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Officials from all over the country are in Topeka this week to learn more about domestic violence and sexual assault cases.
The National District Attorneys Association has offered training to law enforcement officers, victim assistants and prosecutors.
Officials will spend the week learning how to investigate domestic violence and assault cases, how to help victims and how to prosecute cases more quickly.
Attendees discussed issues such as ethics, investigating strangulation cases and documenting domestic violence crime scenes.
