TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- Members of a non-profit organization revved up their engines in hopes to raise money.
The second annul Silverbikes motorcycle run revved up at Kickstart Saloon Saturday afternoon.
Guests could participate in a raffle, buy t-shirts and roll dice.
All the proceeds go directly to SilverbackKS, a non-profit organization that helps the less fortunate and homeless.
One of their leaders, Jennifer Quinn, recently passed away from a rare cancer. Volunteers say they are holding this event in her honor.
"Yeah I feel like that we can honor her today by bringing in lots of money, especially for SilverSuppers, which was her baby and it was created by her. And we are going to celebrate her life today in a very fun way. All of our volunteers are out here. We miss her and love her," says Carrie Sixkiller, SilverbackKS.
The motorcycle run stopped at the Dug Out, Victoria's, Whiplash then returned back to Kickstart Saloon. Those who didn't ride motorcycles hopped on a party bus.
