TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Shawnee County Treasurer's office had to put the breaks on all motor vehicle transactions for three hours.
County Treasurer, Larry Mah tells 13 News when employees opened the DMV offices at 8:00 am, they noticed that the county's network computer connections were down.
The Shawnee County Motor Vehicles office wasn't able to connect with the state of Kansas' network.
Larry Mah tells us services were restored by 11:00 am and DMV employees were able to work through the back log by 1:00 pm.
