KANSAS CITY (WIBW)-- No flights have been affected out of Kansas City International airport after a plane veered off a runaway Wednesday morning.
An airport spokesman said crews were running a maintenance test on an E-170 Republic Airlines jet about 4:30 a.m., when it went off the runway and ended up in some grass.
Two maintenance workers were the only people on board and no injuries or damages were reported.
The Federal Aviation Administration will determine the reason for the mishap.
