National Stalking Awareness Month Is Helping Local Kansans

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Statistics show three out of four victims are stalked by someone they know.

S.O.S Kansas and the Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence have joined together in recognition of National Stalking Awareness Month.

Stalking affects 3.4 million victims worldwide. Including thousands of Kansans every year.

One in four victims report their stalkers using technology to track their daily activities.

S.O.S is a non profit agency that services adult victims of sexual and domestic violence and child abuse in six counties. Including Chase,Coffey,Greenwood,Lyon,Morris and Osage.
