TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- One of the two people arrested in connection with Friday's homicide is officially charged with murder. According to the complaint, Damieon Michael Ortega-Brown was charged with First Degree Murder and Criminal Discharge of a Firearm.

He is accused of killing 19 year-old Patrick Lightbourn, Jr., in an early morning shooting at 620 SW Tyler, in Topeka, last Friday.

Police believe a 17 year-old is linked to the homicide as well, but the Juvenile Dept. of Corrections would not release the teen's name or a photograph. Social media comments have indicated the suspects are brothers.

Ortega-Brown's bond was set at $2.5 million. He is due to appear in court on July 3, 2014.

A visitation for Lightbourn will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Bowser Johnson Funeral Home. The funeral is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
