TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A multi-vehicle accident had a portion of westbound Hwy. 24 shut down north of Topeka Friday evening.
It happened just before 5 pm on a bridge east of the Goodyear exit, west of Rochester Road. The area was reduced to one lane due to construction work on the bridge. A van involved in the accident blocked the westbound lane.
Three people suffered minor injuries.
Westbound lanes re-opened at about 6:30 p.m. Friday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol and Topeka Police responded to the scene.
