Motorcycle Driver Struck From Behind On Interstate

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) -- A motorcycle rider is recovering from injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle accident on I-470.

Police say around midnight Friday, a motorcycle was heading east on I-470 when it was hit from behind by a Toyota Camry.

They say a passenger in the Camry called police following the accident.

Shawnee County Dispatchers said they were talking to the bike rider when first responders arrived and that he was wearing a helmet.

The man was taken a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
