A Tonganoxie man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Jefferson County.

PERRY, Kan. (WIBW-TV) -- A Tonganoxie man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Jefferson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says that around 3 p.m. Sunday, Blake Sneed, 20, of Tonganoxie was heading west on Highway 24 when he lost control of his motorcycle, went into a ditch and hit a culvert.

Sneed was pronounced dead at the scene. KHP said he was wearing a helmet.
