TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Prosecutors have officially dropped their ouster action against former Topeka City Councilman John Campos II.
A hearing was set for Tuesday, but the former District 2 representative resigned last Friday.
Prosecutors filed the ouster along with two felony criminal counts connected to showing a false insurance card after a traffic stop.
Compos entered into a diversion agreement in the criminal case. The district attorney's office filed documents to dismiss the ouster on Monday.
