The May 9th walk is Midland Care's biggest fundraiser of the year. The money raised funds elder care and bereavement services to all patients regardless of ability to pay.

"Its a tremendous benefit that gives the community, not only the ones that can't pay, but the ones that can pay. These are difficult times in peoples lives. Most nearing the end of life or the end of cognitive ability to appreciate life and there aren't to many organizations that will come forward to help you in a situation like this, so it's powerful," James Parrish, Honorary Chair, Midland Care Celebration Walk.

The fundraising goal for this years Celebration Walk is $125,000.
