Topeka (WIBW) - A local high school band was able to honor veterans all the way in New York City.
The Marching Vikes from Seaman High School took to the streets of the Big Apple Thursday for the New York City Veterans Day Parade. Band members joined hundreds of others who made their way down Fifth Avenue in a salute to those who served.
The performance highlights a week-long trip for the students. In addition to performances, they'll include time for some touristy activities.
