TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Area manufacturers are teaming up to ensure they'll have trained workers.
Washburn Tech detailed its new courses in manufacturing technology.
Business and Industry Center Coordinator Tim clothier says the "M-Tech" program will prepare students for a job in production in four to eight weeks.
Those who successfully complete the program are then guaranteed an interview with one or more local companies like hill's, Frito-Lay, Mars Chocolate, Bimbo Bakeries and Del Monte.
