RILEY COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW)-- A 28-year-old Manhattan man died Wednesday morning in a car accident north of the city.
The Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Log shows Michael Ippert was driving a Chevy Tahoe west on Highway 24, three miles north of Manhattan. Around 3 a.m. the Tahoe drifted off the edge of the road, and KHP says Ippert over-corrected and lost control, hitting a guardrail.
The Tahoe overturned and Ippert was ejected.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
