Dozens of businesses gathered Wednesday evening for a full course of food and gift displays at the Manhattan Convention Center.
The Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the HyVee edition of its Business After Hours event, which serves as a chance to create new business relationships within the community.
"It’s a great addition to the community, especially folks from Kansas State University , Fort Riley, people that have moved to the area that had experienced a HyVee in other communities," said Chamber President Lyle Butler. "They were just very excited when HyVee came to our community because they just felt that was a great new place for Manhattan."
Nearly 300 business members were in attendance for tonight’s After Hours event.
