Manhattan Fire Fighters were called to battle a blaze less than a block away from a fire they fought the night before early Wednesday morning.

Crews were called to 823 Colorado around 2 a.m. Wednesday on reports of a structure fire.

When they arrived, they found a detached garage with heavy flames showing through the structure.

The blaze was contained within minutes.

Officials say the fire caused a total of $17,500 in damage. $10,000 was to the structure, $5,000 to it's contents and $2,500 to a nearby vehicle.

The cause is under investigation. Nobody was injured.

Early Tuesday morning, fire crews were just two doors down battling a house fire at 831 Colorado.

This is the third fire within the last three days, the cause of that fire also remains under investigation.
