MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Pouring cold water on a marriage proposal sounds like a bad thing, right? Well, not for this Manhattan couple.

The two of them teamed up for the Ice Bucket Challenge, the viral campaign to raise awareness for ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Each armed with a bucket of water to dump on the other, while Shelby Muha, a teacher at Rock Creek High School explained to the camera what was going on.

That's when her boyfriend, Justin Davidson, sneaked behind her and dropped to one knee...

Muha turned around to the surprise of a lifetime. And, of course, as soon as he got the answer he was dreaming of, Davidson, a teacher himself, quickly went for the water -- probably knowing he'll never get away with it again.

Don't worry, though, it didn't end there. And, now they have a lifetime get each other back.

Congratulations Shelby and Justin!
