Man Suffers Non-Life Threatening Injuries After Falling On Knife

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A man was treated for non-life threatening injuries after falling on top of a woman who was holding a knife Monday afternoon.

Officers were called just before 5:30 pm to 2851 SE Wear Circle.

They arrived to find a 28-year-old man who'd been cut in the chest by a kitchen knife.

Both people involved say the cutting was accidental. The man was taken to a local hospital to be treated.

The woman was taken into the Law Enforcement Center to be interviewed and was released after questioning.
