TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The man involved in a fatal motorcycle accident last September is headed to prison.

21-year-old Ronald Fritz was sentenced Friday to 12 years and five months behind bars.

He pleaded guilty in November to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated battery. In exchange for that plea, counts of accident involving death and reckless driving were dismissed.

Fritz was driving a car September 19, 2012, that hit a motorcycle. 29-year-old Shara McCracken was riding the bike with her husband, Keith, and she was killed.
