Man Says He Was Robbed, Car Stolen At Topeka McDonald's

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) Topeka Police are investigating the claims of a man who said his car was stolen in a McDonald's parking lot early Friday morning.

The man told police he was robbed by two men around 3:30 a.m. while walking to his car at the McDonald's at 17th and Wanamaker.

He said the two men took his phone and keys, and then drove away in his car.

The crime was reported several hours later after the man said he walked from the McDonald's parking lot to Stormont-Vail for treatment.

A spokeswoman for the Topeka Police Department said the man has not been fully cooperative with police.
