TOPEKA (WIBW) -- A minivan driver escaped serious injury Monday night after the Highway Patrol said he rolled over on K-4 Highway, near the 46th Street exit east of Topeka.
His minivan was heading south on K-4, when troopers say the driver lost control of the vehicle at around 9:30 Monday night, rolling over at least once.
His name was not released, but crews on the scene say the driver's van was left on the side of the road to be towed away. The man was taken away from the scene by troopers working the accident. Their report will include an indication that alcohol is blamed for him losing control of the minivan.
