Woman Holds Up Topeka Kwik Shop

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Topeka Police are searching for a woman in an early morning hold-up at a local Kwik Shop.

Officers responded to the armed robbery call around 2 a.m. Monday at the convenience store at 10th and MacVicar. At last check they were searching for a suspect, describing the person as a white woman, approximately 5'4" and 110 pounds, with black hair and blonde highlights. Police say she was wearing a black t-shirt with Jimi Hendrix on it and blue denim cut-off shorts.

Police say the woman ran from the Kwik Shop after the robbery. No one reported seeing her get into a vehicle.
