TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A man accused of killing a woman at a South Topeka motel last year has been found guilty.

Andrew Redick was found guilty of premeditated first degree murder and arson in the death of 39-year-old Lena Keithley.

Maintenance workers found Keithley's body November 15, 2013 in a room at the Country Club Motel.

Redick elected for his case to be heard by Shawnee County District Court Judge Cheryl Kingfisher, rather than a jury.

Prosecutors began presenting their case Monday. The verdict was returned Tuesday afternoon.

Reddick is scheduled to be sentenced on October 4.
